A TRIBUTE TO JOHN BARRY: ALBUM
We have always been huge fans of John Barry which is why we have recorded so many cover versions of his wonderful tracks here at Future Legend Records. This album brings together all those tracks in one offering. It's predominantly a download album. Russell was once on a BBC One radio show with John Barry and they discussed the many Bond themes he had written. John Barry said that he loved some of the innovative and interesting versions Russell had produced of his Bond themes and that Russell's production of Moonraker and the You Only Live Twice cover were his particular favourites. In recent years the Russell's version The Adventurer (always a hard track to get hold of as its a more obscure) has become one of the most popular releases on our label on download and streaming (But if you want it on CD it's on Cult Themes From the 70's Vol.2)
