Cult Themes... Cult Artists!

Once upon a time I worked in a record shop and it was then I noticed the huge demand for theme tunes from cult T.V. shows and films, particularly those from the Sixties and Seventies. Most were near impossible to get on singles and the few compilations around were either by `easy listening' orchestras or only featured 3 or 4 of the `cult' themes plus 20 or so `mainstream' ones that the cult fans were not into. I'm glad to say all that's changed!

After much research and feedback from from various T.V. and film fan clubs, we've released six volumes of just the right cult themes, but with an extra twist. As a record company looking to break new talent we thought this would be an interesting way of introducing new acts to people. This has proved successful with many acts featured going on to get their own albums released, gained T.V & radio slots or secured tour support on the strength of it. They've breathed new life into the tracks and even the fan clubs of the shows have said that many are better than the originals! Plus many of the composers like John Barry have praised them.
To keep things interesting we also got some million selling cult hit acts out of retirement to do a few tunes. So if you are into cult themes, you definitely won't be disappointed with any of these albums.

HOT NEWS: SUMMER 2009

Both Vol. 1 & 2 of the Sixties themes are deleted on CD & Vinyl. Although there are a few cassette albums left.
However the good news is both are now available as Download Albums from Itunes.In fact all the FLR Cult Themes albums are available as download albums. Also for those of you just into one Theme or prefer to make your own cult themes Album you can also buy individual tracks as well. Make sure you type in name of the artists first.
