ANOTHER NUMBER by Carmel Morris

Apart from Box Office Poison we don’t often hear original material that sounds liike cult theme stuff in their own write in both vibe and sound. So it was a pleasure to come across Carmel’s Album ‘Another Number’ inspired by that big Cult series ‘The Prisoner’. So if you like Cult themes music or B.O.P’s stuff you’ll definitely like this album. Now, a few more details about this mysterious wench. Carmel is a multi-talented individual who sang in a heavy metal band at the age of eighteen. Back then, she worked as a graphic artist before turning computer geek and getting a patent on a random number generator. She not only performed in her spare time but took up book writing, achieving several world-wide best sellers for children, including the Advanced Paper Aircraft series; Fold Your Own Dinosaurs and the kids fiction, Cod Almighty - the wacky tale of a giant irradiated cod swallowing submarines and Russian captains. She even had her own TV show, Paper Magic. She has over 30 published books out there now, translated into several languages, including those 'Magic Eye' stereogram series published by Simon & Schuster and the now defunt Dragon’s World (but we won't blame her for the demise of Dragon's World!). Her company, 3D Magic. sold books and posters all over the world. Getting a bit sick of the publishing scene, she once again turned to music, writing for audio visual technology promotions and the occasional song for local bands in Australia. Portions of her latest album 'Another Number', a homage to The Prisoner may even be utilised for the upcoming Prisoner movie remake. The album has guest voice of David Nettheim, who played a part in one of the episodes. Her interest in The Prisoner, took off after having visited Portmeirion in 96.".
